My play list was deleted, why and how do i recover my play lists

I have lost 3 years of music, all i did was upgraded to family premium. It seemed the premium was not activated so i logged in and out of my app. When i logged in again premium was up and running but i have lost everything. i tried to restore playlists and it says I have none. HELP

I'm sorry for the loss of your playlists and/or library.

Here's  a link you can use to recover your playlists and I hope it resolves your issues soon.

I'll alert the relevant people so this situation can be monitored in case it affects other people,

 

If you're unable to recover those playlists, do let me know. And, it will make things easier if you include a bit more info like your device make/model and the version of the app you're currently running.
