My liked songs will not play on my PS5. They won't play if I shuffle them, try to play a song individually, start playing them on my phone and then pair to my PS5, etc. I have unlinked and relinked my account, delete apps from my phone and PS5, forgot device, renewed licenses, etc. Nothing has worked yet. Other playlists work as do individual songs, as long as I don't play them from my liked songs. I am at a loss and extremely frustrated, just want to listen to music while I play games.
Please help!

Hey @shenky89,
Thanks for the reply.
Would you mind telling us roughly how many items you have in your account's library? If you have over 1, 000 Liked songs/ albums this could significantly slow down the performance of the app on some devices and cause issues similar to the ones you're experiencing.
Also, let us know if you've reached out to Sony and if they've given you some troubleshooting suggestions.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
Hi there @shenky89,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!
Could you try logging out and back in to your account twice in a row? This prompts a resync with the servers and may be of help in this case.
If that doesn't work, can you let us know exactly what happens when you try to play your Liked Songs on the PS5? We'd like to know if it doesn't respond at all, if the Play button turns to Pause but the progress bar doesn't move or there is no audio, or the songs appear as unavailable.
We'll be looking out for your reply.
Logging in two times in a row didn't change anything. Nothing happens when I press play when in Liked Songs. Doesn't matter if I click shuffle play or a song within the playlist
Hi there @shenky89,
Thank you for your reply and confirmation.
Can you make sure so there's no pending updates?
We also recommend that have someone log in with their account - such as a friend or a family member to see if the issue persist.
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Take care!
Spotify is up to date on my PS5. I had my wife login to her account and her Liked Songs played with no issue. I logged back into my account and nothing had changed, my Liked Songs still won't play.
Please let me know if you would like me to try anything else.
Thanks
Hi there @shenky89,
Thanks for the reply.
Since Liked songs play as expected on your wife's account, there might be a setting there which is switched on or off, that might be hindering the performance of your original account on the PS5. Compare the settings of both accounts and see if there is such a difference in settings. It could be related to sound quality etc.
You can also try creating a free account for test purposes, to check whether everything works fine on that one as well.
Let us know how it goes.
No difference between the settings and the free account worked with no problems as well
