This issue is still ongoing from 3 years ago, for me and many others. Please fix it! Billion Dollar company.

Same issue here. No sync between mobile and desktop for the last month or something.
Sounds like a bug that appeared recently, not some workarounds people need to go install and uninstall, though.

SOLUTION USING THE MICROSOFT STORE APP ON WINDOWS 11:

Go to your Setting app > click Apps > then Installed Apps > Search Spotify (in the search bar or in the list) > click the 3 dots > click Advanced Options > go down almost at the bottom click Reset (this wil reset Spotify and delete al info from the app off the device, but not from your account) > then reopen the Spotify app and login agian. Thats it it worked for me, all of my Liked songs were immediately there al nicely synced-up.

This worked for me as well:

  • Spotify open on phone & desktop
  • Start song on phone
  • On desktop, change device playing from phone to desktop
  • Add song to Liked Songs on phone
  • All songs then sync to the Liked Songs playlist

Hey @11179805879 and @Barkalow117,

Thanks for sharing what worked for you.

@Poess@iwatkot and everyone else, can you try those suggestions as well (here and here) and let us know the result? This will help us narrow down the cause of the issue.

Cheers,

melvinxx

It's crazy that this issue has been going on for years and the only way to fix it STILL is to uninstall and reinstall the app. Apple Music is sounding better and better by the day.

My Question or Issue

I have Spotify installed on three Apple devices: one mobile phone, one laptop, one iMac (desktop).

While I was on a trip abroad, I added several tracks to my "Like Songs" . I can see and play these songs both on my smartphone and the laptop which I brought along during my trip abroad.

Those tracks are not listed on my iMac desktop station. I logged out and back in with no success.

All the tracks added to my "Liked songs" are available and playable also in the country where the iMac desktop station is. So the issue is not related to licenses and the like.

How can I sync *automatically" the "Liked songs"  (plus other playlists) across all my devices?

AR247

Press your Windows key -> scroll till you find Spotify under "s" -> right click -> more -> app settings -> scroll down to RESET -> press repair, then press reset.

It will take Spotify off the taskbar, but don't worry it's still installed. Just launch again, log in, and it should work fine now.

My Question or Issue

I have Spotify installed on many devices, but unfortunately, my "Liked Songs" list isn’t synchronized across all of them. To update a device, I have to delete the downloaded songs and sign out, then sign back in. This really shouldn’t be so hard to fix.
