Listening to a friend’s Discover Weekly - it doesn’t update

A friend recently shared their Discover Weekly list. It’s awesome. Does it update automatically every week and will I be able to automatically see it? I would love to keep listening without having to ask for a new link. It’s Monday and it has the same songs on it, whereas my Discover Weekly has new content. Any thoughts are appreciated!
