My Spotify wrapped in incorrect and incomplete, a song i listen to daily is at the bottom and has only been played 25 times supposedly. It seems it has only tracked the last 2/3 months? Also it's only 5 hours long even though I listened 19days, my boyfriend listened 7 days and has almost 7 hours on his wrapped.
Solved! Go to Solution.
My wrap is inaccurate, there are songs I have never listen to or artist I haven’t even heard off.
Same here. My top song is one I've never heard of before by an artist I've never heard of before. I typically don't stray from my playlists, I opt out of suggested songs while listening to these lists, and no one else has access to my account. Also, I know there are other artists that I listened to WAY more than the ones that made my top list, especially when I look at the order listed.
My tenant and I have our separate Spotify Accounts, but we share my Sonos system. She listens extensively in her room, while I'm listening some times in the rest of the apartment and in my car. We have widely different taste in music, but for some reason her songs have completely drowned my wrapped statistics?
Is it the fact that we play on the same Sonos system that makes this?
I must stress that the general causes outlined in the FAQ do not apply to my specific and clearly documented issue, which is a severe backend data logging error. I have already performed extensive, in-depth troubleshooting that rules out all standard user-side causes.
I am writing to confirm that the suggested causes in the FAQ have all been investigated and ruled out:
Shared Accounts / Smart Speaker Use: Ruled Out. I have not shared my account and do not leave it playing unattended. My listening is entirely personal and deliberate.
Unrecognized Apps: Ruled Out. I have confirmed there are no unrecognized or suspicious third-party appsconnected to my account.
Offline Listening / Private Session: My issue is not a minor calculation error. My data shows only 33 plays for a song I listened to daily for months. This is a difference of hundreds of plays, indicating a fundamental failure to log the data, not a calculation nuance.
Inability to Update Wrapped Data: I understand this policy. However, this is not a request for a minor correction; it is a plea for an investigation into a severe data failure that has misrepresented my entire year of listening.
My total listening minutes are vastly undercounted, and my top song shows an impossibly low count of 33 plays, despite my status as a dedicated user for 13 years.
The discrepancy is too large to be a user error; it points directly to a probative error in the logging or aggregation of my account's backend data. This requires a manual investigation by your technical team, not a review of standard troubleshooting steps.
As a dedicated and long-term user of 13 years, this experience is profoundly disappointing. Wrapped is a major, celebrated event for your users, and having my personal musical journey misrepresented by a technical glitch severely diminishes the value of my subscription and loyalty.
My final request is for this issue to be escalated past the standard support tier to a team that can:
Acknowledge that this is a data logging error, not a user error.
Investigate my account's raw listening data (if possible) to understand why hundreds of plays were not recorded.
If a fully corrected Wrapped summary is impossible, I would be grateful for any form of personalized correction, explanation, or gesture that validates the extensive listening I know I did.
I sincerely hope a solution can be found to honor my 2025 listening data.
My wrapped is wrong, the artists I’ve never even heard of, I must have somebody else’s…. Gutted
I think my wrapped is not including anything I listened to in my car on Apple car play or connect.
its only showing what I listened to on my actual phone, which isn’t much
Same!
MY WRAPPED 2025 CAME COMPLEATELY WRONG!!!!
I am concerned about safety issues. My Wrapped 2025 absolutely does not reflect the songs I listended to this year. Not even close. Just absolutely wrong! It is very different from my Wrapped from previous years. Can anyone help me with this issue? I am both worried and deeply disappointed.
Many Thanks,
G
i think external speakers are not counted toward wrapped, i have like thousand hours tallied on my spotify cappable speaker but it shows about hundred (plus mostly inaccurate 😉 ) i wish i could get my true statistics for this year...
Hello, my wrapped is completely inaccurate, both in listening time and styles, songs and artists, you have made me a list as far away from my tastes and musical styles, horrible. I don't listen to electronic music, or reagetton or anything like that, my tastes and my lists are basically rock and metal of all styles, last year was more or less good, but this one? What a shame of a list, I'd like to delete it
It’s really frustrating to see everyone posting their Spotify Wrapped while mine is wrong. My 2025 Wrapped is showing a lot of data from 2024. How do I know that? First, the list of my most-played songs was released (and that part is correct, I truly recognized myself in it). But my “Top Artist” and “Top Album” are clearly from 2024. The album was even released in 2024. So, while the songs section is accurate, I’m unable to share my real top genres, artists, and albums from 2025 with my friends. It’s extremely frustrating to look at my Wrapped and not see myself there, especially when I’m paying for Spotify Premium. I’m paying for a Premium service, but I’m not receiving a Premium experience.
No, I don’t share my account with anyone, and it’s not playing in the background either. If that were the case, my top songs would be wrong too, and they’re accurate. It makes no sense at all that my most-listened artists have so few plays in the top songs. Terrible!
I’ve got a song as my no 2 most listened to that I’ve not listened so and doesnt feature on any of my playlists. I don’t share my account or any devices and it doesnt match my top artists either way. Strange error
All my top 5 songs are from a band i don't even know or ever listened to. the algorythms are getting worse, i stopped paying attention to my weekly as it became nonsense. it's time to leave spotify for good, considering all the AI slop, bad news in 25 and the bands leaving. it became a sad money machine banalizing music.
Hello, my wrapped is def wrong, my top 3 songs are by artists ive never listened too and don't even have downloaded. It says I've listened to a bunch of podcasts and i don't listen to podcasts at all lol. I feel like my wrapped was mixed with someone else's because some of the info is right and some is wrong. It's kind of a let down as i look forward to getting the wraps each year.I don't know if anything can be done about it now but if so that would be awesome! If not i understand and hope it's fixed for next year!
Thank you
Stivi
