My Question or Issue

For some reason other people can't see my playlist in my profile even though it's public and it's been added to my profile. It won't work even with a direct link to the playlist. Why is this? I've tried to remove it from the profile and add it back but that doesn't do anything. Also I've tried to make it private and then public but it still won't show.

I'd appreciate any help.

Hi, @thirdxporsche,

In that case it's possible that the system detected something unusual about your playlist and flagged it, making it only visible to you. I'd recommend checking your inbox for any recent emails from Spotify you may have received as there may be something in there which could give you a bit more insight on the matter.

If the issue persists, it's worth making a new playlist and copying the contents of the old one into it (you can do so from the three dots menu of the old playlist > Add to other playlist > New playlist). After that, you can add it to your profile or share it with your friends and it should work.

Cheers 🤘

Hey @thirdxporsche, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Can you let me know if you’re able to do this on a different device, if possible and let me know if that makes a difference? If that doesn’t work, do you mind sending me a link to the playlist to see if I can reproduce it on my end? You can share following these steps.

Also, if you can, send me a screenshot of what happens when you attempt to view the playlist link or access the playlist after switching it to public?

Keep me posted!

Hi there.

It doesn't work on any device. I attached a screenshot of what shows up when someone else opens the list. Also a screenshot showing that the playlist is public.

This is the link to the playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3N68nfO1DfRDK2P8ef7C6U?si=e1f3cdb552644f37

Kind regards:

Hey @thirdxporsche,

Thanks for the link and the screenshots. I also don’t see the playlist on my end, however, let’s make sure that you have followed all of these steps to publish the playlist on your profile.

Let me know if you’ve attempted those steps and what happens when you try to follow it.

Hey there Billy

I've already tried the steps and it shows in my profile but no one else sees it. It used to show for other people but not anymore.
