My Question or Issue

Hey I have a Problem within using the App as well as in the Browser. Sometimes most Audiobook chapters are greyed out. I can only listen to for example 27, 56 and 58 but not the rest. Sometimes its working again after a few days, sometimes not. It also appears that some Audiobooks I cant listen to on my Phone app, I can listen to via Pc Browser and vice versa. So missing licensing or country restrictions cant be the issue here. The problems appears mostly with audiobooks I downloaded for offline listening. Clearing the cache helped one time but not in other cases.... Im clueless how to fix it

Could you try with another account on the same devices to check if that changes anything?

It's also a good idea to give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

It doesn’t work for me.

In my case, the tracks are all available as first episodes on a playlist. Then, when you click on the album - only the first track is available and the rest of the whole book is grayed out. This is through out the playlist “Audiobooks: Crime & Thriller”

Thank you for keeping in touch!

We've checked this from our side and can confirm that the grayed out content is not available on Spotify.  We want all the world’s music on Spotify, but availability can change over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.

We add new content every day, so if you can’t find something you’re looking for right now, it may appear soon.

In this case, if you go to Settings on the mobile app, you can toggle off "Show unplayable songs", and you'll be able to see only the content that is available.
