Problem with adding to Library, glitching out of app and “30 ad free music”

My Question or Issue

I’m having 2 very annoying issues one been happening for a long time which is the “30 minute” ad free music hasn’t been working for months! I don’t exit out the app, I watch the whole ad, and I do hit the watch ad not the “no thanks” button. Everytime after maybe 1 or 2 songs an ad til shows up. Both the app and phone are up to date, I’ve redownload the app, restarted my phone to see if that would help and NOTHING! 
Second issue has been happening before but never to this weird extent that has been happening today and yesterday. Some songs won’t add to my library or “liked songs”/ “save” list (these songs are open to the public I’ve had friends save them without problem but for me it won’t add or show up)! An yesterday trying to add the Wreck new song “I want my life back now” it not only won’t add but when I even try to play a simple of the song the app glitches and takes me out the app! I’ve asked my friends to add the song to see if the same problem occur and it added to there “save”/“liked song” perfect fine and will let them play a simple of the song but not for me. I’ve checked the app and my phone is up to date and I’ve restarted my phone and re-downloaded the app and still nothing.

also have a problem from when Spotify got hacked it’s a small problem just wondering if there a way to fix it. When my account was one the accounts who got hacked when Spotify did the person played music I don’t listen to at all but the playlist they played still show up under “Good Morning” its has been a few week haven’t listened to those playlist at all but they haven’t went away and I was wondering if there’s anyway to get rid of these random playlist other then the “Liked Songs”

 

 

please help me these issues make it hard to enjoy this app

Hey @Aspeno,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community.

Just to make sure that we're on the same page - when you reinstalled the app did you follow this guide? The steps there are very thorough and make sure no damaged leftover files remain.

If the issues continue, could you create a new account and see if the features work as expected there? If that's the case you can use the steps here to transfer your music collection.

Oooo I missed 1 of the steps on that restart so I did it again with that missing step and Sadly didn’t help with the glitching but I realized that it was on the “Release Redar” playlist and all the song when I click to hear a simple did that so it seems more like a glitch with the playlist that causing all the problems so once the song goes out of that I’ll try again and see if it will add and go from there.
The 30 mins of ad free haven’t gotten one yet but hopefully it works

And the random albums are still there but there at least finally moving so they’ll probably be gone in few days after I listen to a few more playlists.

Thanks for the reply.

If the issues are not cleared in a few days, you can try creating a new account like @Mihail suggested and check whether the app works normally there.
