Setting to connect to computers local files not showing up

When I go to my phone settings, then to local files, the option to connect to devices local files will not show up.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

The Local files option has been changed in the latest updates. Now, the app can scan the stored audio files on your device and add them to a single playlist for you. You'll find all the information in this article. 

We're always testing things by adding or removing features to make Spotify better overall. We’re sorry that this means you’re not able to use Spotify like you wish to at the moment, but we hope you’ll continue using it and find it gets better in the future.
