Song not available on your device

Hello, need some help with an issue I just encountered today.

Trying to play a track and a pop up appears saying that song isn't available on my device. I have a premium account. Can anyone help?

Could you send over a screenshot of the error message you receive when trying to play the song so we can get a clear understanding of how things look on your end? Feel free to also share the song's URL.

Hi, i have the same problem.

Cant send the song link because it doesnt give me the option to do it

Thank you for your reply and for the screenshot.

 

Can you let us know if this occurs on multiple songs or a specific song?

 

If it's a specific song, can you please share the URI of it so that we can have a closer look directly from our end?

 

A useful thing to do at times can be to perform a clean reinstall of the app as this will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

This same problem is happening to me, on multiple songs, i've already tried a clean reinstall.

Could you send us the URI of the content that can't be playable from your end?

 

On another note, tell us if you can listen to said content when logging in with a different device.

Thanks for your reply in this thread and for the info shared 🙂

 

In seems this playlist is made all with local files. Keep in mind local files are aren't hosted by Spotify, but can be imported to Spotify from the users' devices. To listen to this particular playlist, you'd need to have said files on your own device. Since you don't have them. you see the playlist all greyed out.
