Songs repeating when the repeating feature is turned off

My Question or Issue

Why are some songs repeating and other songs aren't ever played when I have smart shuffle on and repeating off? It should play every song in my likes playlist only once until all the songs have been played while playing the songs that the smart shuffle adds every two or three songs

That's an odd behavior since the playback should work as you mention if the repeat button is turned off. So in this case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This step is frequently overlooked, but it can effectively eliminate any troublesome cache.

Also, taking into account that the artist could have different versions of the same song in our platform, would you mind checking if the added song is the exact same one or if it's a different release/version?

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
