Spotify Connect not working on Windows 10

My Question or Issue

Spotify connect will not work on my computer no matter what I do. I have done MULTIPLE clean reinstalls, changed all possible settings, logged out and logged back in, put it on a different hard drive, downloaded the app both through Chrome and through windows store, nothing works. Connect works fine on my iPhone 11 and iPad, can control either device from either device and play music just like it should. Desktop version is still connected to my account, shows updates to playlists immediately, functions online mostly fine. But will not show other devices when I click on connect. Just shows "start spotify on another device and it will magically appear here". But it doesn't. Help.

Hey @salvadore1234,

If you're trying to play from a desktop device using a wired connection, turn the speaker on and let it play anything.
If all works well, this should fix your issue 🙂
