Spotify Replaces my Playlist Sources

I'll create a playlist of a band's discography - for example, The Police catalog from 1977 through 1983, building the playlist with each album they released in chronological order.  When the playlist is built, I hit play, and immediately Spotify will replace certain songs in the list (from the original album) with songs released from a Greatest Hits, Special Edition LPs, or Boxed Sets.  It's just annoying that I can't keep the playlist built with the source material/albums I select...why does Spotify replace these tracks when the original albums are available in their library as well?

To start investigating this behavior, since the process to add songs could be done in different ways, would you mind confirming how you are adding the songs to the playlist?

Also, does this happen with just a single artist or with all the artists you've tried?

Lastly, it would also be great if you could share the link of the affected playlist in your next response to take a better look.
