I am using a fully updated Spotify with an iPhone and a windows pc running windows 10. I have local files turned on for both and have turned off the firewall on my computer. I have made multiple playlists and added the downloaded music to them but it no avail. I’ll sometimes see the name of the song I want playing on my phone but there will be no track if I attempt to play it. Very smooth and easy system to use (not)

If you're having issues with synchronizing your Local Files, it's a good idea to create a new folder on your computer, move your audio files there and change the file's source folder from the Spotify app's settings.
If it doesn't do the trick, please give a try to these steps to perform a clean reinstall and start with an app free of cache and leftover files.
