Stop playback from other devices

iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 Plus, Windows 10 PC

I'm not quite sure how to word this, so I'm just going to give an example. I was listening to one playlist on my PC, then had to go somewhere and listened to a different playlist while in the car, when I got home and back on my PC, I clicked Play expecting it to continue playing the last song I was listening to on my PC, but instead it began playing the last song I'd listened to on the other playlist in the car. Is there a way to I guess disconnect my devices to keep this from happening? It's not a big deal or anything, just a minor inconvenience that I was curious if there was a way to fix.

Hey there @HiTechRedneck3!

Welcome to the Community and thanks for the question.

The way Spotify works now doesn't allow having separate streaming sessions on one and the same account without synchronization between your devices.

You can take a look at this page to see how to check your listning history on desktop so that you could keep track of the tunes you've played last and continue from there.

Hopefully this shines some light on the situation. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Have a great day!
