Unable to add or remove albums on mobile

My Question or Issue

I have been unable to add or remove liked songs on my phone. It works as normal on PC, but it's a hassle to switch between them. When I press Like (the heart) it goes green, but is not added to library, and upon returning to the album it is gray (the heart). What can I do to fix this?

Spotify is really getting worse and worse.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with adding music to your library.

Perhaps we can try  some steps  first before we let it get us down 😄

• log out of your account and back in
• clear  app cache and ensure the device has enough free memory
• restart your device
• remove your SD card(temporarily)
• try logging in on a different mobile device
• try switching to a different  network connection
• turn off services like VPN's

If none of those work, then I'd recommend carrying out a clean reinstall using the steps outlined here .
