I mean, they're already rewindable when played from the local files playlist, so why not make it rewindable from any other one?

From your description, it's not exactly clear what you're referring to. Could you elaborate a bit more on that? What setup do you have? What devices is this on? 

If possible, send us a screen recording showing the exact behaviour so we can have a closer look and determine if this is expected or not. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.
