logged into my spotify on desktop and lost all my playlists, followers, etc.

My Question or Issue

i lost my phone and logged into Spotify on my windows 10 desktop. when i logged in, i lost my followers, my playlists, my profile picture, and i only have two daily mixes. I'm still logged on on an iPhone 8, but i can't access it. i can look up my actual profile and have the option to follow it and listen to my playlists, but i can't go in and edit anything. please help, i really do not want to start a new account!

i use spotify free.

It sounds like you might be logged into the wrong account. It's possible to create multiple Spotify accounts, each with their own login details, saved music, and subscription. Please check out this guide to find any other accounts.

It sounds like you might be logged into the wrong account. It's possible to create multiple Spotify accounts, each with their own login details, saved music, and subscription. Please check out this guide to find any other accounts.

Playlists gone. Clicked on solution and it leads to password reset.

Thanks for flagging this.

 

I've updated the link in @Noah's reply. It should now take you to a support article page where you can find info on how to check if you've logged in the the wrong account. This is most likely what is happening, as your playlists won't be deleted by the app, but they're most likely in another account of yours.
