navigate through playlist on screen saver

My Question or Issue

Whenever my phone is in screen saver the app is not displayed anymore. I need to unlock the phone go actively back into the spotify app and open it to press next for the next song or pause or whatever I want to do. It used to be directly on the screen for simple navigation like pause, forward or backward. Can anybody help out? It is really annoying when you first need to navigate through your entire phone till you can finally get back into the currently playing playlist

Good day.

I've dealt with such an issue before where I had to unlock the app every time to control playback .

The solution was under Notification settings in the phone's settings app.

Now I don't know how yours looks but mine had 3 settings

• Hide all notifications
• Show all notifications 
• Hide sensitive notifications

I switched from the first  to the 3rd setting and I became able to control playback with the phone locked.
