I think the title of the post says it all, the sync for my Spotify library is very slow (sometimes taking literal days) and, when stuff does sync, it’s only parts of playlists. Very rarely do I have a sync wheee I then don’t have to also modify the playlist(s) on each client to ensure that match.

My Question or Issue
Hi,
I'm also having the issue described in the title of this thread, and on mulltiple devices: iPhone, iPad and Windows app
Steps:
1. ❌ added a playlist to my library on iPad -> opened Spotify on iPhone and didn't see the playlist in my library
2. ❌ added a playlist to my library on Windows -> opened Spotify on iPhone and didn't see the playlist in my library
3. ✔ added a playlist to my library on iPhone -> Spotify was open on Windows, the playlist appears in my library
Only after that 3rd step, I could see the playlists from step 2 appear on my iPhone.
While it solved my immediate problem, this clearly seems to be a sync bug that needs resolving
Devices:
- iPad mini on iOS 17.6.1 with latest Spotify version installed
- iPhone 13 mini on iOS 17.6.1 with latest Spotify version installed
- Windows Dell laptop with latest Spotify version installed
I built some new folders on my desktop app in order help organize myself better. I moved tracks from the general playlist into these various folders and deleted the same ones from the general playlist. Everything looks good on the desktop. In my iPhone app I do not find these folders but I do find the tracks themselves. Looks like nothing updated to my new setup. what's going on??
Oops
Y’all, this is obviously a problem many Spotify users are experiencing, it’s been a problem for me too. You’d think with all the money Spotify withholds from artists they could assign a dev team to patch this. I pay for this service, wth is going on with this Mickey Mouse bs?
I am having the same problem - I created a playlist on Windows, but it won't sync with my Android phone (v 12). CLEARLY, MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. DOES SPOTIFY CARE?
No matter where or which device I use to save music on Spotify, I want access to that saved music on any device and any application.
Right now when I save music on the Spotify desktop app, a song for example, the song will be stashed in my Liked Songs 'playlist', but when I open my iPhone's Spotify app in my car the songs are not saved in that same playlist.
Thanks for helping me bring my favorite music everywhere with me, no matter which device! Y'all are doing a great job 🙂
Hey hi! any updates?
I'm having the same problem. I create playlists on the Windows desktop app, but they will not sync to the Amazon Fire app on my tablet or the regular Android app on my phone. The only way I cant get them to sync is to delete all the storage (cache and data). That works -- but just once. The next time I try to to it, the problem recurs. Having to do this every time I add or edit a playlist on multiple devices is unacceptable. Can someone please find a permanent fix to this problem?
I've also been experiencing this same issue on iOS (Premium; iPhone Xs; iOS 17.6.1; Spotify 8.9.78).
However, I've found the easiest way to force the phone's app to sync with my library is to just create an empty playlist on the phone, then delete it. This appears to force the phone to re-sync the library and I usually get all of the missing playlists I've added in the desktop app on the phone without having to go back to my desktop. Spotify really should implement a drag/swipe-down behavior in the phone apps to refresh playlists, but until they fix the sync issue I've found the empty playlist trick works well.
Yep - worked immediately upon adding a dummy playlist. Thanks!

My Question or Issue
Playlists not match on my devices, logged in and out on both devices countless times and nothing happens.
Strangely I have a similar problem.
Playlists from the same profile are disappeared from the phone but still exist on the computer and other devices.
I have the Premium plan and use a Mac laptop and an iphone. My playlists on my laptop application are not updating to what I have on my phone. I have closed the apps and reopened but it is not updating on the laptop. I have Mac OS 14.6.1 and iPhone 12 Pro Max running 17.6.1.
