why aren't songs showing in my friends playlist that they we listening to?

I am listening to a playlist that my friend made. I see her activity and I see her listening to songs that are apparently in the playlist but when I look at the playlist on my end, I see nothing new. Is this a privacy kind of thing or is spotify just bugged. I would post photos but I would like to maintain anonymity. But for example lets say there a playlist called "Fun Times" and I see my friend listening to the song "Way it Goes - Hippo Campus" in "Fun Times" through the friends activity sidebar. However, I don't see said song in said playlist on my end

We've moved your post to this help board as it doesn't qualify as an idea. 

There could be several reasons why this is happening. The first thing to check would be asking your friend how many songs she can see on her playlists, and compare it to the number of songs you can see from your end. 

Also, please go to your app Settings and make sure the "Allow playback of explicit content" is toggled on.
