ALL Songs are skipping

So I have premium Spotify and a stable wifi connection but EVERY song in EVERY playlist I listen to skips to the next song after getting 3 quarters through it. I will click back on the song and move the slider to the point just before it skips and it will play through the rest of the song just fine and move onto the next song but then goes back to skipping past the last quarter of songs. I've tried closing my app (listening on a laptop) and opening it again, playing different playlists but it won't stop skipping the last quarter of EVERY song. It's so annoying, anyone know what to do??

I tried re-installing and it actually got worse. I can't listen to a full podcast without it skipping to the next episode midway through. 😞

Now if I have abything paused, random music will start playing! I'm the only one who uses or knows how to access my account.
