After a few skips of songs, the app freezes on one song and stops working. I have to close and reopen the app all the time.
I did a clean install, cleared the cache, deleted some songs for some space, update the app. I use an ipod.
please help!!! I cannot find any similar issue

Same here, but on iPhone 7, latest iOS and Spotify. Tried reinstall, cache delete, re-downloaded songs, even re-installed iOS but still freezes.
I have had the same problem fur a few weeks now. Can to pass give the ordered steps for a "clean reinstall"? I am pretty sure though, that even though the majority of the time I am using an ipod to play spotify... I have had the same issue when using the app on my android phone.

If the issue persists, include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating your case.

Me too. iPhone 7 plus iOS 15.7.7 Spotify version 8.8.48.499.
Often when I skip song, the playback freeze and to continue playing, I have to close the app. I was thinking that was Carplay causing this issue but I found that the problem is the same with bluetooth playback. I attach the app log if you need.

I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 15.7.8
I have followed the clean uninstall guide on your website even logged out of every device i have and i did these several times.
I'm a premium user.
If i skip a bit slower, like listening 2-3 seconds of a song and then skip to the next one i can skip around 10 songs before the app freezes, but if I do it faster than 2-3 songs and it's dead.
Also, it's way worse if the phone is on low power mode. It can freeze while listening and browsing for next song.
Hope you guys can fix the issue, or maybe this is an iOS problem.

I have the same problem and recently it got worse. Now it already happens after skipping one song. And also when I add a song to play next, it freezes.
it happens on my iPhone 7, 11, iPad Pro 2022 and iPad 6th gen, all on the latest OS and the app is also on the latest version on all devices. I’m on premium. It happens on WiFi and on 4g. And it happens while in the car with downloaded playlists. In the car it sometimes freezes randomly and then I have to drive further without music. Or stop somewhere to force close the app and open it again. It’s getting unusable like this.
I’ve tried all troubleshooting steps mentioned.
I’m just back at premium after coming from Apple Music. I switched back in June. So I’m not sure when this started. The only thing I know is that this freezing problem didn’t happen between December and March in my Spotify premium trial. So I regret paying for this now.. it immediately started freezing when I started using premium again in June.

I have updated my app and it is much much better now. It now only freezes when I’m skipping a big amount of songs and then try to go back a lot of songs. So that’s not how I’m using the app normally.
So it looks like it’s fixed. Thank you!
