All menus disappearing

Somebody please help me - I have spotify premium on my iPhone and have the latest update but when I choose and album or playlist to play, if I click on it more than twice to see available tracks etc, all that shows up is artwork and I can only swipe left to skip, there's no menI or back button, to choose a new artist ETV I have to close the app and reopen, it's rly frustrating

Are you able to post a screenshot of what it looks like when this happens? I'm having a hard time understanding what exactly happens.

Also it's worth trying to reinstall the app to see if that solves the problem.
