Amazon registered devices not showing on Spotify with different account

We are a house hold that has a shared Spotify family plan. We also have a family plan for Amazon. We have several Amazon echo devices and the ones which are registered with with particular account will show up as devices to play from for that user but not the other user who they are not registered with. Is this a Spotify limitation ? The only way I can have a show device show up on my wife’s phone under Spotify is if I deregister it with my Amazon account and register it with her Amazon account. I figured with our Amazon accounts are under a family plan there might be a different way to register device but otherwise I can’t figure it out any help you can provide is appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out 🙌🏼

From our experience the Echoes will only show up for the account they are linked with.

Everyone else has to first give the command "Alexa, Spotify Connect" after which they can select that Echo in their app.

Should any further questions arise on the matter, you can also reach out to the support folks at Amazon!
In any case though, the issue should be fixable 🙂
