Anyway to default to Bluetooth?

My problem is a minor one but annoying nonetheless. When I'm in my car I charge my phone through my car's USB port, which happens to also allow the car stereo to access music stored on the phone. I always play my music over the Bluetooth connection in my car, and just rely on that USB for power. My problem is that whenever I get in the car and plug in the phone, the spotify app recognizes the connection as a USB dock, and defaults to sending the music through the cable instead of through the bluetooth. However, the car stereo doesn't play well with this arrangement, as it is designed for playing music that is physically on the phone (ie in the iPod app). I've gone through all the settings and there doesn't seem to be a way to tell the Spotify app to ignore the USB connection and default to playing over bluetooth. Can anyone think of any workarounds? Thanks.
