App on iPhone doesn't recognize that I upgraded to spotify premium today

Phone still says I'm not a premium user. Help please!

I tried reinstalling the app, logging in and out, etc. Didn't work

I'm having the exact same problem.  It's incredibly frustrating since that's the only reason I upgraded.

I just read more posts and it looks like we're not alone.  Many people are having this same issue.  I'm going to give it until tomorrow.  If it doesn't work still, then I'll talk with my credit card company and get the charges reversed.  Hopefully Spotify fixes the issue and gives all of us some kind of finacial kick back.

In the same boat here. Just upgraded, i'm about five minutes from canceling the subscription. This is bs.

I am having the same problem, tried restarting the app but nothing,vented help please just got premium about 20min ago

Same freaken thing is happening with me.... makes me mad... i really want them to fix this 😞

I purchased premium this morning, and it works fine on my laptop, but it wont aknowladge that on my iPhone 4. Please help me!

I think all of the issues are fixed.  I direct messaged spotify on Twitter.  Here's what went down:

 

"Thanks for getting in touch. Sorry to hear of this issue, I appreciate how frustrating it must be for you.

For a short period on Tuesday Spotify experienced a server problem. This resulted in a delay in updating your Spotify account with your new subscription status.

Your subscription should now be updated to your Spotify account. If this has not yet happened, please log out of Spotify (File > Log out) and then log back in again. If the problem remains, do not hesitate to get back to me.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

 

As of now I'm officially no longer having any issues.

I have just signed up for Sptify Premium, however I am using the 30-day free trial (plan to keep using it after that, but why not get 30 days free to start?)  I can get it to work on my compuer, but not my iPhone 4, which is the only reason I even signed up.  Is it becuase it is a trial that it only works on the laptop?  Already tried the suggestions above.
