Apple Car Play (offline) not really functional

My Question or Issue

When I use Spotify and Apple Car Play without cellular connectivity, it shows (probably correctly) under "Home" that I am offline.
The problem is that under "Recently Played", "Browse" and "Your Libary" no content is displayed, although I have downloaded some playlists. If I start playback directly from the phone, it is accessible normally via the button in the upper right corner.
This problem has existed for about 2-3 weeks.
With internet connection everything seems to work as before.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Have you activated the Offline mode of the app beforehand? It wasn't quite clear from your description. Just to be sure, could you give it a go as described here? 

Let us know, if this resolves the issue or not so we can further investigate.

thank you very much for your answer.
I had not yet explicitly activated the offline mode via the settings. I have just tested it and unfortunately can not see any difference.
