Apple EarPods built-in remote issue

Hi there,

I just signed up to be part of this community and I hope I found the right place to report on this bug / problem that I have with the iOS App.

The problem itself doesn't occur all the time but happened a few times by now.

So while Spotify is playing in the background and I use the built-in remote on my Apple EarPods it pauses the track. However when I hit the button again to resume playing, it launches and starts playing from the (stock) Music app.

Pushing the button again won't help because the Music app has taken all priority over the Spotify application (which paused its audio playing and is still running in the background)

Help?

iOS Spotify App Version: 8.4.20.535

iOS Version: 11.0.2 (15A421)
