Audio intermittently cuts out on Bluetooth devices

My Question or Issue

Spotify intermittently cuts out when listening on Bluetooth devices. Results in a short stutter in playback. Tried:

- updating spotify

- updating ios

- forgetting/ re-pairing Bluetooth devices

but none have worked.

also tried to reproduce the issue with Apple Music, but it seems to be isolated to just Spotify.

Sorry to see this has been happening!

Could you let us know which OS it has occurred with? I can see you've said both iOS 16 and 17 (public beta), I assume the issue was present with both?

What would also help us out is testing whether or not the issue occurs with another mobile device, connecting itself to the same Bluetooth devices.

Experiencing the same issue. Ios 17. Didn't occur in iOS 16

This has recently started to happen to me also. I am streming to a blue tooth speaker via iphone or ipad

This is an ongoing APPLE issue with any of the iOS 17.x.x versions. The latest versions have even been worse and are related to Bluetooth. iOS 17.3.1 that just came out seems to fix the problem for some people.
