Auto resume going back several tracks

Hi,

I use Spotify on my iPhone (4S, iOS 6.1) and often have problems with the auto resume.

Example:  listen to track A, B, C before exiting Spotify halfway during track D. When I re-open the app it does not resume playing at track D, but jumps back to track A, B or C and resumes from there. See attached image (from  last.fm) where you can see what has happened.

I have the same issue... fairly annoying- it makes me wonder if this is an intentional "feature" by Spotify to maybe remind you of what you were listening to? I don't know.
