My Question or Issue

As should happen, unavailable songs that are queued are automatically skipped. This causes the visuals of the previous song, cover image, video, etc. to replace, or cover, the visuals of the song being skipped to, also causing visuals to display with incorrect brightness. For me, this only happened with shuffle enabled, though I only tested with shuffle enabled.

Hey @Sneezless,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Could you provide a short screen recording of the experience? We see that you've attached a zip file, but can't download it due to security reasons. You can post the screenshots or videos as they are.

Does the described happen on different devices with different accounts?

Keep us posted,

Cheers!

So far unavailable songs haven't shown up in my liked songs again, so I couldn't test this again, and this doesn't happen on desktop because of difference in ui. This didn't happen with unavailable songs within albums, and unavailable songs don't show up when added to playlists, so couldn't test there.

One question, is there a reason why .jpeg is disallowed, despite .jpg being a version of it for earlier versions of windows?

Cheers,

Sneezless

Hi @Sneezless,

Thanks for your reply and the info provided.

In this case, you can try clearing the caché from the app settings. Then restart the app and check if that makes a difference. If not, it’d be best to reinstall Spotify on that device.

On another note, JPEG can be used. Just make sure the image you’re using meets these requirements. And if you're working from an artist profile, check out this info.
