Back button replaced with like/dislike on IOS lock screen

A couple days ago I could click on my lock screen on my iPhone X running version 11.2.5 with the previous version of the spotify app and there was a Back, Play, and Forward button.  Also I could drag the play bar forward or back to skip ahead in the song or go back.

Now I have a menu to either Like or Dislike the song instead of the Back button.

Also the play bar is no longer interactive.

I didn't upgrade my phone IOS or my Spotify app.

I have since then upgraded both my IOS and Spotify app to the latest versions.

Neither of these fixed the issue.

How to I get the locked screen to go back to the way it was?? 

I don't want to log into my phone each time I want to go back a song.
