Can’t log in on iPhone (code=30)

Can’t log in on iPhone (code=30)

I haven’t been able to log in using the app on my iPhone for a couple of months (since I came home from an overseas trip). When I try, I get an error: “Something went wrong. Try again. (code=30)”.

 

I can log in fine on a browser, just not in the app.

 

I have tried reinstalling the app, changing my password, and restarting the device, without success.

 

How can I fix this?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version available in the App store?

 

On another note, is this happening on a different mobile device? It’d be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account and check.

 

Lastly, do you use a VPN? If yes, try switching it off.

It is an iPhone 7 running iOS 15.7.3. I have just updated to Spotify
8.8.20, which seems to have solved the problem. I will let you know if it
comes up again. Thank you!
