Can't see our AV receiver with one of our account

Can't see our AV receiver with one of our account

We're playing music through spotify connect on our Yamaha RX-V675.

 

If I'm the one connected, on the iPad app, I can see this receiver and it works perfectly fine.

But if my wife is the one connected, even though we're both premium, the receiver doesn't show up in the list for spotify connect.

 

Is this rollout thing about spotify connect still going on? Or do I have to do anything special to be abble to see this device? (kill the app, restart the iPad and all that kind of things didn't work...)

Nope, Spotify Connect is fully rolled out on iOS and android as far as I know. That is definitely weird, are you using the same iPad?

Yes.

 

Just now it's playing with my account, I can see the receiver.

If I log out, and log in with my wife's account : no receiver.

 

She doesn't have a facebook "link", it is a simple spotify account, where I'm using my facebook account for spotify. That's the only diffrence I can see....

Just asked a member of the support team about this, it appears to be an account based issue that is easily fixed (and you guys are just unlucky to have come across it)! If you could drop them an email using the online contact form they should be able to get Connect working on that account.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

So after discussing with the customer service, it seems that my wife's account wasn't totally operational even though it is a premium account. Some features need some time to be activated, which seems a bit weird for me anyway.

So now we're waiting for this feature to be activated on her account...

That is what I suspected, hopefully they can get it added swiftly for you!
