Can’t sort songs by date added anymore?

My Question or Issue

The songs in my playlists on my phone used to be sorted by date added, with the newest ones first. But now it’s the reverse. I don’t like it bc I want to hear the ones I just added first.  This is why I didn’t like Apple Music.  Can anyone help? Thanks.

Thanks for getting in touch about this. 

No worries, you can still sort your songs by Recently added. If your songs are ordered from the oldest to the newest, you just need to tap on the Recently added sorting option again until you see the arrow pointing upwards:

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The option is visible when you swipe down from the top when you've opened a playlist. The screenshot you've provided is not where this menu is. You have to open the playlist search menu by swiping from the top.

Pulling down to display the sort options used to work but the last update removed this feature. My extremely long playlists were all flipped back to oldest first. Pulling down only increases the size of the playlist image. 

Has anyone else resolved this?

Can you please make a short screen recording of what happens when you drag down from the top of a playlist on your phone? You can send us a link to Youtube.
