Can't sync local files from desktop to iPod

I have local files in my desktop, but they don't show up in my iPod. 

I cant sync my devices to spotify either, because they got rid of the devices. I'm connected to the same wifi. Wtf do you they want me to do here? This is SO frustrating. No other topic, nor help post, is helping in any way. I've tried most everything.

that does most certainly not sound any good. When you say that you have tried "most everything", what is that more specifically? 

-Have you restarted Spotify on both your computer and iPod?

-Have you tried to restart both your computer and iPod?

-Have you tried to restart your router?

-Have you tried to sign out and then in again, to see if that helps?

-Have you tried to reinstall Spotify on your iPod and/or your computer?

If you have not tried everyhing above, try to do it starting at the top (or maybe like Drake does, started from the bottom - that will probably work as well). Does it work now?  🙂

I'm having the same issue here and I would appreciate it if someone shed some light on it. The recent Spotify desktop update removed the abilitiy to sync local files to a device, and because of this I force-reverted back to an older version where it was still possible. Then it turns out that Spotify removed the ability of syncing in the iOS app too! Absolutely ridiculous as I am unable to revert to an older version of the iOS app.

For Wifi sync to work you got to have Spotify app opened in your iOS device.

Also you got to have iPod Touch with iOS7 or above.
