Cannot connect to Chromcast with newest version of Spotify

I cannot find the chromecast with the newest version of Spotify. I have never had any problems with this before. Spotify version 8.4.18, iOS 10.3.3
Is this a known problem?

Same problem here on my Chromecast Audio

Spotify Version 8.4.19.792 armV7

Apps like TuneIn work perfectly, but Spotify can't connect anymore. 

I restarted the Chromecast, Spotify App and my phone several times.

android 7.0, kernel 4.4.13-12050265.

Works fine if i start the playlist on the phone, changes control to a computer and then from the computer connects to chromecast.

I.e.; This one is likely due to an error on the android app.

Still doesn't work in 8.4.21.508

I play music on my ChromeCast Audio with the TuneIn app. 

I open Spotify and connect to the Chromecast (under devices). The music

that plays back (from TuneIn) stops. However it keeps saying "Connecting..." 

After a short while it quits. 

I have no problem to start streaming again after that with TuneIn.
