Cannot play local files songs on IPad

My Question or Issue

Hi

Is there any way in which I can play my ‘local files’ tunes on the IOS version of Spotify? I spent hours ripping CD’s to Itunes and then exporting them to Spotify, only to find that I cannot play these songs on my iPad.

Alternatively – could I export my iTunes playlists to an external source (e.g. a USB), then convert them from ‘local file’ format and then import them into Spotify, so that they can be played in IOS?

Have you synced you local files from your desktop client to you iPad?

Thanks for your reply. I did a bit of digging, and it's actually easier than I thought. I just needed to download the playlist on the IPad, and the local files became playable.
