Can't update playlist cover or profile picture

We're getting reports from users who are unable to update their playlist cover or profile picture. Some are getting an error that their changes couldn't be saved and to try again.

I'm also having this issue tonight (4/14/25)!!!
I've tried changing the picture for multiple playlists. I've tried it from my iPhone, my desktop app, and also my web browser player. I've tried it online and offline. I've done a clean reinstall of the app on my desktop, but I refuse to for my phone. Whenever I try and upload a photo, it simply says, "Failed to upload image. Please try again." It can find the image, because it shows the new one in the window. When I click save it tells me, "Failed to save playlist changes. Please try again." No error codes, no further explanation. I feel like I'm going crazy!
It might just be Spotify is having issues accepting new images right now or something. I just wish I knew if it was me or not.

This is happening to me as well. I've tried on both my iPhone and my Macbook. Logged out and reinstalled Spotify on both. Tried different pictures. Tried on and off internet. All still not working, not sure what else to do at this point

I've tried everything. Cleared the cache on the app, restarted my phone, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, logged out and logged back in, took a regular photo through the app, tried to create cover art, etc. I finally gave up and went to Spotify's forums, and now we're all here.

Spotify needs to make a statement about this as soon as possible.

I cannot upload images on desktop or mobile for playlists or profile photos. Attempting to do so results in a "try again" message. I have cleared cache, signed out from mobile, browser, and desktop (mac), uninstalled from mobile, and clean uninstalled from desktop, and it still does not work on any device. Clearly, this has to be a cloud issue of some sort. Any fixes beyond what I have already tried?

I haven't been able to change mine either. I tried it on mobile and it doesn't work there as well.

I'm also having the same issue, i tried for like 20 minutes, doing a bunch of different things, none of them worked.
