Cant play music after losing Premium

Cant play music after losing Premium

I recently lost Spotify premium and as I recently opened up the app, I couldn't play any music. My wifi is fine, I uninstalled and reinstalled, and turned off and on my phone, and it seems that I still can't play any music. I use an iPhone 6.

 

I haven't had this problem in the past, as I've used premium before and when it expired, I went straight back into my music. I don't know what's going on, I'd love some help. 

 

EDIT- Is it true you can only choose your music if you have premium?

I can play the music but the playlist is grayed out and I can only shuffle it??
