Car: VW Passat 2017 with Discovery Pro
for about a week now Spotify refuses to start properly on CarPlay. When connected car display gets buggy/ irresponsive and finally shows “Unable to connect to Spotify”. If lucky, you might get it working on the 10th disconnect/connect but at that time I am already parking at work. All other CarPlay apps are work as expected.

I'm sorry this has been happening for the past week. It tends to be easier to connect spotify to CarPlay if it is already playing on your phone before you connect. If this doesn't work, please check out Spotify's support section on CarPlay here: https://support.spotify.com/us/listen_everywhere/in_the_car/carplay/
