Connected device pop up showing up constantly

My Question or Issue

When using Spotify connect, you get that pop up to that show that device name and current volume levels. I am getting that pop up constantly starting today on both iphone and ipad while connected to a speaker device and while I have the app open. It always pops up when i hit next song, when the next song in queue automatically plays, whenever I scrub the track, and whenever i open the app. It also just seems to randomly pop up whenever i interact with the app.
