Didn’t picking a new song used to reset the queue?

My Question or Issue

If I remember correctly, if I was listening to a playlist and picked a different song, it would reshuffle all of the songs in the queue. It doesn’t do this anymore. Is there a setting to make it do that again?

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

If you're listening to a playlist, and you select a song from a different playlist, or from Search, the queue will change completely based on the new selection. If you don't want this to happen, you just need to add that "new" song to the queue by tapping on the 3 dots next to it > Add to queue.

If you want to re-shuffle the whole queue, you have to open it and tap on Shuffle. If the queue was already playing in shuffle, you need to tap twice on the Shuffle button, since one tap would change it to Smart Shuffle.

Hello,
Spotify removed the auto-reshuffle behavior when selecting a new song from a playlist. Currently, there’s no setting to restore it. You’ll need to manually reshuffle using the shuffle button after picking a new track.
