Disc Space is getting bigger and bigger

Hey,

i don't know whether there is a post like this on this board.

I want to ask, why the disk space of spotity on iOS is getting bigger and bigger?! I don't have any offline playlist on the phone yet, so i can explain to me why this happens.

Just in case that someone is interested in what the answer is:

The solution to remove the disc space is to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. After that the disc space is normal!

Hi,  i just recognized that i have the same problem on my iPad Air. 

I will try to uninstall the app and will observe the used space of spotify. 

If this method wont help, i will report it here.

Isn't this kind of a ridiculous "fix"? I want to be able to remove things from available offline and it disappear from my phone. I shouldn't have to uninstall the application to restore my space.

Yep, thats quite ridiculous. The Spotify app grants itself the right to manage your disk space.

When your phone space is running low, spotify will delete the oldest stuff.

But i think its even more absurd that my tablet space was running low because of spotify, even when i never had offline playlists at all.

Because ive got the 16 GB version, and i only use ma tab at home, i dont need to use offline playlists.

But reinstalling the spotify app solved my problem.
