Ipod storage vs Iphone storage issue

So I just bought an ipod 6th gen today (same 16gb as my iphone) but I noticed spotify the app and all of my offline data takes up alost double the storage as it does on my iphone (10.4gb on my ipod and 5.5gb on my iphone)... Can someone explain this?...

Solved!! Spotify app has disappeared from my iPhone 4s and will not reinstall

I have Spotify premium. It works ok on my iPad, but The app has disappeared from my iPhone 4s, that it just upgraded to latest version. I try to reinstall from the cloud and app store, but the download stops after a second or so. What can I do?

Playlists Will Not Play on iPod Touch
