Do I have to store my music twice?

Hi

Have Spotify premium subscribtion. I have 20 gigs of music already stored on my iPhone 4. Can I get this music into "local files" on the spotify app, or do I have to sync from my computer, thus have 2 versions of the same songs (one for the music app and one for the Spotify app)??

These tracks would need to be synced directly with the Spotify account, so in theory it would need to be stored twice.
