Downloaded songs turned gray after turning internet connection off; premium

Checking this app out and I'm on premium trial. Downloaded the songs so that it will be available offline but after i turn off my internet connection all downloaded music turned gray and i'm unable to play them offline yet it consumes a huge amount of disk space. Also tried reinstalling the app but to no success. Now i'm having second thoughts of subscribing to premium after my free trial ends. I'm using ios 10.0.2 on iphone 6s.

Do the songs play when you turn off the offline option?

I just had the same exact problem and I solved it by first freeing up space on my iPhone. Then I undownloaded the playlist from my phone and deleted the app. Then I redownloaded the app, downloaded the playlist again and it worked.

I'm using iphone 6s sir

Maybe this will help?

1. Uninstall Spotify

2. Reset your iphone by holding the home + power button until it shuts off

3. Install spotify

4. Download your playlist again
