Equalizer loses settings after a short time

The build-in spotify equalizer loses my selected profile every few startup on my iPhone.

When I check the equalizer settings, the checked profile is gone, and the sound is also hearable not equalized. The "Equalizer" checkbox is still on, but if I turn it off and on again the sound is hearable equalized again, but not with my selected profile. When I chose the "rock" profile again afterwards, everything is normal again. A few app startups later the equalizer is lost again and I have to select everything again.

I'm having this problem since 2 years. And also with different devies (iPhone 6 and then iPhone X now). 

I'm using spotify mainly with CarPlay, may be that's a reason too.
