Family Listening

Might sound a bit thick here, however, once you have signed up family, can the other member of the family listen to a different play list, while I am listening to another ? 

if so, then i need help, as I cant find a way to let my daughter listen to her music and me listen to mine at the same time

as long as you sign her up for an account on your family plan you guys should be able to listen to different songs on your own accounts at the same time!
